Do me a favor and ask your HR manager for a copy of every junior designer resume they’ve received in the past month. If you’re at anything larger than a garage startup in Cupertino you’ll get 50-100 examples of what I’m writing about.
And if you read the article, you’d know I’m not gate keeping. I’m explicitly encouraging new designers to go above and beyond to get jobs because hitting the status quo isn’t going to cut it anymore.
